Titles that stick, no matter how much I try to shake them.

They linger in the back of my mind,
always loud, always cruel—
a constant reminder of what I’m supposed to be.

Titles explain us to the outside world.
They make people think they know the truth.

But I am invisible.
And they only see what they choose to label.
